Privacy Policy

BeanBench is built local-first. This policy explains what data the app stores and how it's handled.

Your brew data stays on your device

The coffees, brew logs, roasters, recipes and photos you create are stored locally on your device. We do not run a server that collects this data.

Optional iCloud sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud account via Apple CloudKit so it can sync across your devices. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your private iCloud data.

Optional social features

If you choose to share activity or publish a recipe, the content you explicitly share is stored in a shared CloudKit database so other users can discover it. You control what you share, and your profile visibility, from within the app. Nothing is shared publicly unless you choose to share it.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, and we don't use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs in the app.

This website is a static marketing and content site. It does not require an account and does not collect personal information from you.
